Selective Withdrawal Due March 27
By Connect2Mason Breaking News Director Matt Todd
The Spring 2009 selective withdrawal forms are due this Friday, March 27. Selective withdrawal allows undergraduate students to withdraw from a limited number of classes throughout their college career under their own judgment and without receiving any approval from the dean.
According to an e-mail from Peter N. Stearns, Provost, sent out at approximately 10:35 a.m. today, a student can “process a maximum of three selective withdrawals” throughout their undergraduate career. The forms are available at the listed website http://www.registrar.gmu.edu/forms/index.html and are due no later than 5 p.m. on Friday. Students must be enrolled in a full semester's worth of classes and selective withdrawals will only be available for courses in which they are currently enrolled.
Any questions are to be directed to Marcelle Heershap, Dean of Student Academic Affairs and Advising, whom can be reached at studacad@gmu.edu.
