  • Orange and maroon ribbons, which are Virginia Tech’s official colors, will be distributed throughout the day and a candlelight vigil will be held in the evening.
  • In the Johnson Center Atrium at 12 p.m., President Alan Merten and Student Government President Drew Shelnutt will speak and provide a moment of silence.
  • Also, there will be a petition against violence that is available for students to sign.
  • In addition, Mason’s Counseling and Psychological Services will provide counseling and outreach services, which will be available all day to students who may need it.

These events are being headed by student government. For more information, call (703) 993-2923.
