Letter from the editor: Winter Break coverage

Dear Connect2Mason Readers,

It’s been a busy semester for us at Connect2Mason. We have covered visits from President Barack Obama, Governor Mitt Romney and Jill Biden, as well as the unwelcomed visit from Hurricane Sandy. We have also covered President Ángel Cabrera’s start at Mason along with a variety of other stories.

As the semester wraps up, I would like to let you know that we at C2M will be taking a break from writing, taking photos and shooting video for Winter Break. We will not be posting regular content unless there are any breaking news events. However, our Sports Editor Pat Carroll and Sports reporter Kristi Anable will be updating our brand new Mason Hoops Central blog on the Mason men’s basketball team. They will be writing previews and recaps of the games and providing analysis on the team. If you’re not already following @SportsC2M on Twitter, I encourage you to do that.

We have some new and exciting things planned for next semester including the introduction of more blogs. We will also be posting letters to the editor from you, our readers, and including more multimedia content.
