GMU Announces Fairfax Hotel, Conference Center

The university presented its plans for a hotel and conference center to the Fairfax City Council this past Tuesday, March 25, according to yesterday's Fairfax Times.
Highlighted information from the article includes:
- 150 rooms planned for the hotel
- 20,000 square-foot conference center
- To be built on outer southwest side of campus (CM note: Likely west of Lots J & K, just south of the Patriots Village)
- Project finished by 2010
- Restaurant and lounge
- 200 additional parking spaces
- New campus entrance from Chain Bridge Road
