Fenwick extends library hours for finals

In preparation for final exams, Fenwick Library will be testing new extended hours. From December 8 to 17, Fenwick hours will be open longer than usual. From December 9 through 12, the library will be open for 24 hours, and again on December 16 and 17. The library is hosting the new service to offer students reading days to study for finals.

From midnight to 7:30 am, Fenwick will have security guards patrolling the building. Students must present a valid Mason ID card at the door. In the late night hours, however, Fenwick’s circulation, reference, interlibrary loan, data services, and special collections will not be available. Additionally, Print Services will not be staffed.

Changes to Fenwick’s hours are as follows:

Sunday, December 8: Open at 9:00 am

Monday-Thursday, December 9 – 12: Open 24 Hours

Friday, December 13: Close at 11:00 pm

Saturday, December 14: 9:00 am – 11:00 pm

Sunday, December 15: Open at 9:00 am

Monday & Tuesday, December 16 – 17: Open 24 Hours

Wednesday, December 18: Close at 6:00 pm
