By Connect2Mason Reporter Matt Todd.
Here are my state-by-state FINAL predictions for tomorrow’s November 4th presidential election…and more.
Tomorrow is it! Election 2008! Either way, it’ll be a close race (though probably not as close as markets suggest) and the U.S. will either have their first African-American president or their first female V.P. Here is the state-by-state odds and who will win, not to mention I tackle the challenging task of predicting the numerous battleground states Nevada, Missouri, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, and Florida.

Signs have been posted outside every Metro station to inform riders of the program, which entails selecting riders at random and inspecting any baggage they are carrying, such as purses, backpacks and briefcases.

Raising Smiles to Brighten Lives
By Broadside Reporter Jared Trice.
Now a junior at George Mason University, Zeina al-Khalaf began a nonprofit organization as a junior in high school that has raised nearly $100,000 in an effort to care for wounded Iraqi children.
Al-Khalaf is still continuing in her efforts to care for children wounded in Iraqi war zones. The program, dubbed Raising Smiles, operates as a bridge that closes the gap between the wounded children and the necessary medical attention provided in the United States.
Al-Khalaf is informed of the wounded children by way of soldiers currently stationed in the region. From there, Raising Smiles partners with the Global Medical Relief Fund to secure the necessary documentation for the child. Using only donations, Raising Smiles will then prepare to cover transportation, lodging and other basic expenses.

Police responded to a September 30 complaint, when the individual at the registrar’s office became suspicious of the diploma Tan presented and contacted police.
“On the face of the document, counterfeits can seem very credible. If you don’t have an original sitting side-by-side with it, they often can be passed off quite easily. However, the degree of scrutiny is going up,” said University Counsel Thomas M. Moncure, Jr.

STI Testing Should be Greatly Expanded
By Broadside Staff Writer Sabra Hayes
Due to our current STI epidemic, a blood test should be required of all citizens over the age of 18, before they enter college. Many states require a blood test before marriage to check for STIs like HPV. This blood test would help notify those who may have an infection and not realize it, which would keep it from spreading. This test should strictly be used as a self-knowledge system and not as a means of alienation.
