On March 28, Connect2Mason sat down with Fairfax County Supervisor John Cook to discuss the relationship between the university and the community, his initial impressions of President Ángel Cabrera, and upcoming renovations to University Hall.

Cook was elected to the Board of Supervisors in 2009. 

 

Plans for University Mall updated

Responding to community input, developers have updated their plans for the renovation of the University Mall shopping area, which is located across the street from Mason’s Fairfax Campus.  Read more from Burke Patch and see the plans here.

University Mall could have a renovation in its future

The shopping center across Braddock Road from the Mason campus could be the center of a renovation and expansion if plans between stakeholders in the University Mall complex come to reality.
