Hartford outfielder Ryan Lukach drove in the game-winning run with a short fly ball over the outstretched glove of Mason’s Tucker Tobin. Josh Leemhuis came around to score after he had walked earlier in the inning. This was a pleasant surprise from the game before where it took until the 6th inning for Mason to plate their first run. However, a couple of double plays ensured that this would be their only run in the game.
